The twins’ musical palette takes in Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley and Motown, as well as gospel – owing to their father being a pastor – not forgetting a sneaky sliver of grunge, and the result is a duo with serious promise at major chart success in the not too distant future. A track that is what it says on the tin, “Lovely” is a soul-funk pop earworm with nothing but confidence and levity from the twins, and what’s more, it’s only their debut release.įeaturing the masterful handy work of legendary producer Michael Binikos (Donna Summer, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West), “Lovely” is the first of three tracks comprising Kelly & Kyle’s upcoming “Lovely” EP, made with Binikos at Hollywood’s Sunset Studios.
